How to Help by Shopping!
Sauk County Humane Society
Many people are not aware that they can help the Shelter by shopping with certain local retailers. Care about animals, and want to help the Shelter?! Then shop with these retailers - and let them know you chose them because they care!

Pierce's Marketplace
Pierce’s Marketplace
in Baraboo's Westdayl Plaza 		In Baraboo, Pierce’s Marketplace runs a “Market Club” program that allows customers to designate a local charity to receive a portion of their purchases. Just sign up at Customer Service, and say “I want the Sauk County Humane Society” as the recipient. Pierce’s Marketplace makes it easy to help the Shelter each time you shop!

To sign up: Go to Customer Service to sign up for the "Market Club” card. Fill out the form, and designate the Sauk County Humane Society as the recipient. (Our number is 1093 - but confirm this when registering.)

You will be given a Market Club Card. “Swipe” the card each time you shop, and the Shelter will get 1% of your purchases!

This store's program helps the Shelter a great deal!

Viking Village Foods
Viking Village Foods
on the east side of Reedsburg 		Reedsburg's Viking Village Foods will rebate 1% of your purchases to help the Shelter.

To participate, ask their Customer Service desk for details about which purchases are eligible. (Some non-food items are excluded from the program.)

You can :
  1. Keep your receipts, run a total, submit them to Viking (within a year of purchase) for them to check your math and send the Shelter a check, or
  2. Look for the Shelter Donation barrel in Viking's entryway and put your receipts in as you leave; or
  3. Bring in or mail in your receipts to the Shelter for a volunteer to run the totals. We're glad to help!
Viking Village Cans
 ... and Viking Village also helps by teaming up with Nekoosa Metals! There is a drop-off cage in the parking lot for aluminum cans. Please bring your cans, and remind others to do so, too!
Reedsburg Village Market
Village Market in
downtown Reedsburg 		Reedsburg's Village Market (in downtown Reedsburg) gives the Shelter 1% of your purchases, also! You can:
  1. Keep your receipt, run a total, and submit them to Village Market for them to check and then send us a check, or
  2. When leaving the store, put your receipt in the box located on their Customer Service desk for a volunteer to tally, or
  3. Bring in/ mail in your receipts to the Shelter for us to tally.
